A number of efforts to encourage more conversations across our current social and political divides have been ongoing across the Charlotte area. These community-based efforts are focused on bringing diverse groups of people together, and include Unity in the Community, On the Table Charlotte, and more. Many local libraries, churches, and museums have also worked to facilitate such opportunities for connection, learning, and action.
